Beaches and nature
In just 10 minutes, you can be at the sea—whether it is the sandy beach of Porto Recanati or the rocky coastline of the Conero, great for swimming and walking. Head the other way, and in under an hour you will reach the Apennines, where you can hike, bike, or simply enjoy the views.
Culture and food
There is also a lot of history and culture here. Towns like Loreto, Recanati, and Macerata offer art, music, churches, and lively markets. And of course, the food is a big part of life here—local, seasonal, and full of flavor. If you are looking to explore Italy at a slower pace, Marche has plenty to offer.
