A Sustainable Stay

The B&B is built with simple, sustainable choices, focusing on natural materials like eco raisin floors, wooden furniture, and certified organic cotton towels and bed linens.

Our duvets are made from 100% tencel (eucalyptus tree pulp), which is soft, breathable, and highly sustainable. We use eco-friendly toilet paper, and ecolabel-certified soaps and shampoos. Everything is chosen to offer you a low-impact, comfortable stay.

Growing and cooking with purpose

We grow olives organically, using regenerative practices like improving the soil with wood chips from prunings and natural pest control.

Our vegetable, herb, and flower garden follow permaculture principles: minimize soil disturbance (no dig), rainwater capture, and companion planting to boost biodiversity. We started planting herbs and flowers under our fruit trees to create a food forest style orchard.

In the kitchen, we try to keep waste low and avoid single-use plastic. We compost all food scraps to turn into next year's food, and use ecological cleaning products.

Fresh, local, and low-waste.

Creating a living landscape

We have planted over 30 fruit and ornamental trees, and more than 200 flowers and shrubs — to support pollinators, wildlife and a diverse landscape.

Our bees, managed by beekeeper Antonio, help pollinate our crops and give us honey and beeswax for our natural products.

In the coming year we plan to buy e-bikes, install an electrical car charger, get chickens, expand the food forest and plant lots more shrubs and trees.

Growing with care

Sustainability is a work in progress, and we are always finding new ways to improve—from the land and gardens to the B&B rooms.

Thanks for being part of the journey.
